Red, White and Blue Fourth of July Pool Party

How to Throw a Fourth of July Pool Party

The fourth of July is an important, yet casual holiday occurring during the hottest time of the year, so why not celebrate it in and around the pool? Think about it – it really is the “poolitically correct” thing to do, and a truth I hold to be self-evident. And, since it’s a time to celebrate freedom, let’s liberate party hosts from complicated recipes and elaborate party prep! Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with this fun celebration for guests AND hosts! All men may be created equal, but all pool parties are not!

Invitations

Of course, you can quickly print out your own invitations on the computer, but why not do a little something special that’s nearly as easy? I love this flag puzzle party invitation from spoonful.com. Added bonus: it will keep kids quietly occupied – err, I mean happily involved – when you enlist their help in making them! You can mail them in bubble envelopes from the dollar store or hand-deliver. Your guests will have fun putting the flag together to learn the party details!
